Many UBC Fashion Show Team Positions Filled!
The UBC Fashion Show committee has recently added four new members that will make up the core of this years creative team. Here they are!
Roel Moeurs: UBC Fashion Show 2010 Assistant to Director - Roel will be my right hand man and will be the person that you can go to for information about the progress of the show or decisions in your category when I am unavailable.
Kyle Hogg: Head of Advertising - Kyle was a model in last years show and this year he will be responsible for getting the UBC Fashion Show "out there" through social media, postering, representation, marketing and contests like "UBC's next top model".
Akari Izumi: Finale Co-ordinator - Akari is a great addition to the team as she will take on the task of tying in this years theme of "fashion and freedom" into the final design show. With her exciting sense of style she will surely make this years finale a visual extravaganza!
Radhika Gupta: Shows Co-ordinator - Radhika has been very busy with Van Fashion week but she will be responsible for recruiting designers, picking outfits for the shows, order of the shows and set up of the shows.

UBC Fashion Show 2010
The UBC Fashion Show is an annual student run fashion show sponsored by the International Relations Student Association. The UBC Fashion Show 2010 will be held in March on UBC campus and will feature innovative creations by young BC designers modeled by UBC students. Last year the event drew more than 200 and was given positive reviews by both members of the Vancouver fashion industry and UBC students. This year the show will pursue the theme of Fashion as art and how its expression reflects political freedom.

Want to be part of the UBC Fashion Show 2010 committe? Here are the positions that we are still looking to fill:
- Head of Advertising (publicity, social media, posters, PR releases)
- Backstage Director (in charge of keeping backstage in order with models, FX artists, etc.)
- Shows Co-ordinator (organizes program for show, which models go in which shows, helps with finale)
- Assistant to director (helps with communication to models, designers etc. Assists director)
